How I Edit My Photos

March 9, 2019

A lot of you may know that most of my pictures on the blog and Instagram are very bright and white. I have been asked

many times about how I edit my pictures so I thought I

would put a blog post together talking about it!

Snapseed is the only app I use for editing my photos. I’ve been

using it for about a year and just love how simple & easy it is.

I want to show my step by step process on how I edit my images

for both the blog & Instagram!

First thing I do is use the brush tool "exposure".

This tool works by taping the screen to where you want to brighten it.  There are different levels of how bright

you would like to go, but I normally will do +0.3 or +0.7.

I will also use saturation to get back some of the color.

The last thing I do is use the healing tool. This will basically

erase what you don't want in the photo. All you have to do is tap on

the thing you want to photoshop out and it will disappear.

I got rid of some cracks on the wall and the fire alarm.

That’s all for my editing techniques!

Let me know if you have any questions below!
